On October 23, 2023, the DALTA JONELTA Foundation, Inc. (DJFI), the charity arm of Perpetual Help Medical Center – Las Piñas (PHMC-LP), organized a medical mission and gift-giving activity at the Medium Security Compound of the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City. Over 750 Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) received comprehensive medical check-ups, while nearly 200 underwent visual acuity tests. DALTA JONELTA also distributed grocery packs and reading glasses to the PDLs, which brought a much-needed relief and support. This initiative is part of the year-round outreach programs led by Dr./BGen. Antonio Laperal Tamayo and his group of companies, including PHMC-LP and the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (UPHSD). The event, held in celebration of Dr. Tamayo’s birthday, reflects the foundation’s commitment to giving back to the community and empowering marginalized sectors through healthcare and compassion.
