The DALTA Jonelta Foundation Inc. (DJFI), in partnership with the DALTA Group of Companies, has successfully executed its flagship Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative entitled, “Haplos sa Kalusugan: Medical Mission and Gift-giving, held on October 17, 2025, in University of Perpetual Help Mindoro Mission School, Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro, as a thanksgiving birthday celebration of Dr./BGen. Antonio L. Tamayo, AFP, PFCHA, PhD.
This Medical Mission is a true embodiment of being ‘Helpers of God’ – always ready and willing to serve the community and the Indigenous People located in Abra de Ilog, Occidental Mindoro – a grand gesture of gratitude in honor of the 80th Birthday of the Founder/ Chairman of the DALTA Group of Companies together with his Co-Founder/CFO Dr. Daisy Moran Tamayo, and joined by their vibrant and dynamic UPHSD President Jose Anthony Tamayo, and the UPHMC President Richard Antonio Tamayo, a genuine and true reflection of leadership and service.
A Day of Lifesaving Care and Generosity
The venue of the Medical Mission and Gift-giving is within the premises of the Perpetual Help Mindoro Mission School, the place where the children of the Indigenous People, the ‘Mangyans’ are given access to free primary education.
The Medical Mission was spearheaded by the DALTA Jonelta Foundation Executive Director Dr. Consuelo Reyes, along with the volunteers from Perpetual Medical Hospital, namely; Dr. Joshua M. Devantes (Family Medicine); Dr. Gayle Ivon B. Bonzo-Oraa (Palliative); Dr. Anne Pauline Baes (OB-Gyne); Dr. Marc Jim C. Cellar (Pediatrics); Dr. Dominique Anne C. Battaler (Family Medicine); Dr. Ritzian Clark O. Chua (Family Medicine); Dr. Tiffany Anne A. De Luna (Family Medicine); Dr. Ramon Kristian C. Japor (Family Medicine); Dr. Mary Megumi A. Hamor (Internal Medicine); Dr. Patricia Anjela P. Pascual (Internal Medicine); Dr. Erika Leah M. Manay (Internal Medicine); Dr. Mc Ybrahim Manay (Internal Medicine); Dr. Franz Josef Biboso (Pedia) (reservist); , and volunteers from DALTA Group of Companies, namely; Dr. Dasig (Head of CES, UPHSD-Las Pinas Campus), Mr. Bennyl U. Ramos (Head of CES, UPHSD-Molino Campus), Medical consultation, such as physical check-ups, basic health assessments, and medicine and vitamins distribution were conducted and about 530 beneficiaries, consisting of infants, mothers, youth and elderly, were accommodated during the gift-giving and feeding activities.
