Haplos sa Kalusugan: Medical and Dental Action Program Marks 12th Anniversary of AFPARU
On April 28, 2023, the DALTA JONELTA Foundation Inc. (DJFI) celebrated the 12th anniversary of the 1st AFP Affiliated Reserve Medical Center (AFPARU) with a special Haplos sa Kalusugan Medical and Dental Civic Action Program. The event was held to honor the dedicated service of AFPARU while providing essential healthcare services to the community. The program offered a range of free medical and dental services, including consultations, check-ups, and preventive care. Volunteer doctors, nurses, and dentists from both DALTA JONELTA and the AFP Reserve Medical Center worked together to assist community members, delivering care to those who often lack access to professional health services. The anniversary celebration was not only a recognition of the 1st AFPARU’s continued efforts but also an opportunity to strengthen ties between the military and the local community. Through Haplos sa Kalusugan, DALTA JONELTA and AFPARU reinforced their shared commitment to improving community health and supporting underserved populations.
